L...Thank you for joining in again, Logan *hugs* :D

Leave for WP?! Nooooo! I am resistant to change. All change. Any change. :P

I felt the same way about ARCs, and I'm trying to limit myself now. I miss getting books from the library and reading on MY schedule. There are also so many books that have been out for years and years and I feel guilty that I haven't read them yet.

Time management is my issue too. I want to do it all! But that's not very realistic (did you know I'm NOT a super hero with magical time bending powers??? I'm just now trying to come to terms with this fact).

I love how your reviews have gotten longer. Obviously I'm a fan of long reviews :PSmall Reviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16072352095510905410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2704068707505574570.post-35677380878984770112012-01-11T11:57:52.027-06:002012-01-11T11:57:52.027-06:00@Aylee - I think I've found a way to transport...@Aylee - I think I've found a way to transport most of my main design elements to Wordpress, but that is a concern. I love my new design and I hate to abandon it.Logan E. Thinking about jumping ship back ...What's this? Thinking about jumping ship back to wordpress? It'll be sad to lose your awesome blog design (I assume this can't be transferred over?).

I've also come to the conclusion over the past year that as cool as getting ARCs can be, I'm usually pretty okay with waiting until the release date. I used to view ARCs as the ultimate status symbol of book blogger success, but have since come to realize that they're not that important to me anymore. Sometimes I even find the responsibility of owning one stressful... like I'm not worthy of having it and it could be best utilized by someone else. Also, I've decided that, like you, I must stop fawning over the hot new releases just because everyone else is reading them. I feel like I'm only going to continue enjoying blogging if I read books I want to read, rather than books I need to read to review.

Anyways, great answers. I loved your five bits of wisdom!Ayleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07639250102446794830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2704068707505574570.post-12324964301834605382012-01-10T11:57:33.668-06:002012-01-10T11:57:33.668-06:00@Missie - Relationships like you are exactly what ...@Missie - Relationships like you are exactly what I mean! *huggles* Though it's easy to say numbers don't matter once you have some, the truth is that comments are what's really meaningful.

@My keeper shelf - Believe me, I can see the advantage to short reviews. Sometimes when they're reeeeeally long my eyes glaze over a bit. I try to find that happy medium. :)

@Asher - Right?! I used to get my feelings hurt when people didn't return comments or stop by after I left a meaningful note, but then when my OWN comments started to get ignored I realized what was really going on. It's something I still feel really guilty about, though.

@Amanda - I LOVE Poetry to Prose's self-hosted design. I'll send you a link. DO IT!Logan E.
