This week's question is:
As weird as it may seem, I actually love reading on the train. My commute is one of the few times during my day that I can spend time alone and uninterrupted. I find it much harder to concentrate on my reading when I'm at home with the husband and the dog. Plus, the train noise and rocking is kind of soothing.

If you're a first time visitor, or just didn't get the chance to stop by this week, here's what you missed:
LOLA AND THE BOY NEXT DOOR by Stephanie Perkins
4/5 stars
13 LITTLE BLUE ENVELOPES by Maureen Johnson

Vacation Reading Challenge

Trailer Tuesday - Anonymous
Writing Wednesday - The Struggle to Revise
Enjoy your weekend everybody!

If I had a train ride every day, I'd definitely read, too! Seems like the perfect place for it. :)
I used to love to read during travel time, but now I get motion sickness, so I'm a little envious of you!
I get motion sickness too when I try to read in a moving vehicle. I'm always jealous of people who could read on the bus/train. Plus it would have made those long childhood road trips so much better!
Reading during my daily commute is one of my favorite things to do as well!
Oh I have a feeling that reading on the train would be like me reading in the car. Instant headache. I'm so jelly of people that can do it! :)
great choice! lots of time to get reading done :)
I think reading on the train is great! I used to read all the time on the Trax in Utah :)
I am jealous of the ability to read during your commute! We don't really have reliable public transportation way out here in the middle of nowhere, so I as stuck driving my 90 minute commute for 3 years... that as before I discovered the joy of audiobooks... so no reading for my commute! (Now? My commute is from my bedroom to my couch - so not so much time to read in that journey either ;) )
I love that picture!! You read on a train- thats awesome. I get sick if I read on anything in motion, so I use audio books for the car...:)
I can read on the train too. I solved the problem of not being able to read in the car by getting audio books!
Because I don't live in the city, I have a romantic fantasy about public transportation. In the town where I live it's a joke, so whenever I visit New York (or Boston, etc), public transport seems incredibly reliable and efficient. And, since someone else is driving, you can read. Which is my way of saying I totally envy you.

I love to hear from my readers, so please don't hesitate to comment. Good or bad, inspired reflection or spontaneous babble - I love them all!
